Geesala took a large number of Awards at the Mayo Boxing Awards in the Hotel Ballina,all our champions took awards,Geesala won the most Successful Mayo Club at the National Championships,plus Peter Howard took the Best Boy 2 Award,and Pierce Holmes took the best Youth 1 AwardPat Mcdonagh recieved the most active referee award,also there was a surprise Award for the Lifetime Achievement Recipient,it was our own Johnny Carey,This announcement was recieved with tremendous applause from all in attendance,it was made all the more special with his family in the crowd unawares to Johnny,It was a great end to a great year for Geesala Boxing Club,Hopefully next year will be half as successfull.....Check out the pics on the Photo Gallery...
